This excursion has two parts; one of free time to sightsee or shop which will take place in the center of Barcelona –the Rambles promenade, Plaça Catalunya-- where you will find some of the most impressive shops in this most cosmopolitan and modern city. For those not really interested in shopping it is their chance to visit the Cathedral and Gothic Quarter or even the Picasso Museum if they wish (about 2 hours free time). Notice that monuments such as the Cathedral, the Sagrada Familia Church or the Gotic Cuarter will not be visited in group. The second part of the visit consists of an interesting drive around the main avenues of Barcelona with the highlight of a stop in the beautiful Güell Park. We will also take a brief look at the olympic installations with a photo stop at one of the highest points in the city where you will be able to admire the splendid views.
