Once joining the coach the courier will take the guests directly to Montserrat. At the foot of Monserrat “Monistrol de Montserrat “ we take the rack railway the five kilometres up the mountainside enjoying the fantastic views and scenery.
Montserrat means “Serrated Mountain” and is a beautiful, old strange mountain. It has a length of 10 Km. and a height of 1.235 metres. On one of its sides is situated the famous monastery, at 725 metres. Inside the church the guests can see the patroness of Catalonia, ”La Moreneta”. Around midday the boys’ choir, one of the oldest and most esteemed childrens’ choir in Europe, will sing. The guests can also visit the museum to see works of art by Picasso, Caravaggio, El Greco, and other Catalan artists. For the more daring there is a cable car which transports the guests even higher up the mountain where the views are breathtaking.  Included with the excursion there is a “Tastet” (a little taste of the most tipycal liquors in Montserrat), also the cost of the Rack Railway
